STAINED GLASS WINDOW

From Shattered Pieces to Light

A deeply personal memoir of childhood trauma, survival, and the long road toward healing.

Some stories are carried for a lifetime before they are finally told.

Stained Glass Window is my story — written in the hope that someone who has ever felt misunderstood, silenced, or alone might find a little light in its pages.

Abuse Doesn’t Have a ZIP Code

Abuse can happen anywhere

—to anyone.

Behind beautiful homes.

In good neighborhoods.

In families that look perfectly

normal from the outside.

I grew up in Manhattan Beach,

California - 90266

Abuse doesn’t have a ZIP Code.

Stained Glass Window is the story of what happened behind one of those doors.

I wrote it for anyone who has ever felt silenced, misunderstood, or alone.

Because what happens behind closed doors should never have to stay there.

I survived it. Now I’m talking about it.

For years, I thought surviving meant staying quiet.

I know now that my voice is part of how I survived.

I spent most of my life believing my story was something to hide.

Now I understand that telling it may be the reason I survived it.

Trauma didn’t make me strong.

I DID.
